im a hockey fan from new york city ……i get the rangers islanders and devils as my local teams because of the area i live in but im a calgary flames fan and i never get the chance to see them on tv…….so i was thinking to myself ……verses needs more outta town games on because im tiered of week after week seeing penguines….caps and or the red wings on so……do u guys agree with me and if so which teams should would u like to see more of

The NHL, New York Rangers and New York Yankees are closing in on a deal that would see an outdoor hockey game played at Yankee Stadium in 2009, reports the New York Daily News.

With the success of the Winter Classic between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Buffalo Sabres this past January, the NHL has been looking into the possibility of holding more outdoor games. Since the Yankees will be moving into a new stadium in 2009, the proposed hockey game would be the final sporting event held at old Yankee Stadium.

I think it is a good idea, seeing how the last outdoor game had booming success.

Does anyone else here love the way sean Avery plays. Yes it might be what some might say cheap. But think about it there are diffrent “poistions” in hockey you have your goal scores your play makers your fighters and your big hitters and you got your aggitaters like sean avery. The man is just doing his “job” but is he doing it all to well? Think how vital he is to the rangers succsess. he gets under guys skins and gets them all flustered and throws them off there game ( ex. Marty Brodure). So ranger fans do you appretiate sean avery and do you want him on your team?
